Default Sooo I decided to lower my maintenance range.

Because when I get my period, or splurge, or do anything that might make a temporary spike in weight due to water, I get fat again! Not fat fat like I was, but I'm so obviously bloated and self conscious and everything that goes along with being fat. So I decided instead of 150 being the low, 150 is going to be the new high and I'm ready to reach my original goal of 145. I feel comfortable in the upper 140s and I feel like that's better for me. It's so easy for my weight to creep back up to 155 and 156, and that's when I start getting blah. It's amazing to me how such a small amount of weight can seem to make such a huge difference at this point.

I've noticed though since I made the decision to start losing again on Sunday, my weight has been steadily going down! I've already lost a pound. I know that's probably just water weight and what not but I really wasn't expecting it to come off that quickly, lol. I suspect the other 5-6lbs won't come off so quickly. Or maybe they will, who knows! Anyway, just wanted to update y'all and let you know that I'm back in the weight loss ball game until I get into a good comfort zone. Cheers!

It's always a good idea to hang out at a weight and then take stock of the situation. I did the same thing in adjusting my own goal. I hope it doesn't take you long to get there

I can totally relate (not now, because I am pregnant) but it is amazing what a few lbs do to you when you are short(er). I look around the same anywhere from 148-151, as soon as I hit 152 you can start noticing, let alone 155!! I got up all the way to 163 and I looked like a complete different person!

So yeah, mid 140's is ideal for me, because it gives me some room to get bloated when life happens, without really affecting my appearance.

How exciting! Sometimes we try so hard and see nothing happening (or even a gain!) and then sometimes, we have those days when the scale is moving down with a lot less struggle. Enjoy it and let the momentum drive you to your new goal!

I went into maintenance at 148 and have been consistently losing ever since. ( slowly though. About a half pound a week. I'm at 141 right now.) It is weird. I am slowly ramping up my calories but my weight is still coming off. I like not thinking about it so fiercely.....I recommend this plan. Take your time and enjoy the losses.
