Default Who wants to claim victory in August with me?

I need a good solid month of accomplishment! I want to look back and not be disappointed in myself. I've lost a lot of weight but I can't seem to get it together for any length of time here lately.
I have chores that need to be done around the house that I dread doing and I need to get to exercising. So who's in with me? Onward to victory!!

i fully agree! this should be a month of accomplishment! and steps towards progress!

What are some of your goals?

Mine are to remember that overeating should not lead to a binge.
My goal is to eat moderately and to stay within my calories when possible.
At the same time- if there is food I need to eat situationally/ really want to eat- I want to be able to have a moderate portion and be satisfied, not loathe not being able to have more and ultimately end in a binge.

I'm in! I still need to improve my maintenance habits. My goals are to:

Eat only veggies (occasionally with some dip) for snacks
Keep in mind that I don't have to sample every "interesting" food at a catered event or grocery store
Do less nibbling.

Yes!! I want to end this imperfect summer with a bang!!

My goals are:
- Eat well at restaurants! Whenever I go out, I always pig out. I won't do that anymore.
- Eat egg white on most days.
- Only eat when hungry, and not out of boredom.
- Choose healthy snacks only, like fruit or Chobani.
- Keep away from the granola bars! I always end up binging on that stuff.
- Eat less sugar overall. The less I eat, the less I'll crave it. Overeating on sugar and starch has been a problem with my weightloss.
- Exercise 5 days a week.

Hope I can do it.

August will be a great month! I will increase my workout activities. I will continue eating lots of fresh foods. I will continue to stay away from fried and fast foods. Let's do this!

Me too! I'm so close to 50lbs lost that I need the next 5 lbs to drop this month because I so badly want to say "a year ago I was 50lbs heavier" (started in sept).

Goal is to continue with my eating, specifically smaller portions and less junk, and I've got to get on the wagon of exercising again.

Yesterday went well. I stayed in my calories and carbs, plus I got 90 mins of exercise in.
I want to stay on my plan this month, 1800cals/<20 grams of carbs and exercise 6 days per week. I do have 2 planned "cheat days", my wife and son's birthdays. I'll try to stay in the calories, just not the carbs. You can't go to Red Lobster and not eat a couple of those cheddar bay biscuits! Hope everyone is doing well.

I want in! I'm due with my second daughter on the 8th and August is finally the month to get back at it. I know I'll have some recovering time before I can really start exercising again but I want to start focusing on regaining some of my healthier eating habits back.

My goals a) eat less sugar b) cut back on the chocolate milk and juice c) start cooking more again and d)cut back to more moderate portion sizes.
