Default First stage of C25K survived

I managed the first stage of the training today - lasted for the whole 20 min + 5 min warm up cycle.

Smartphone apps and music are a wonderful thing!

Good for you. It's definitely hard to get started on changing lifestyle habits -- especially with diet and exercise -- but will be worth it in the end! Keep up the great work.

I just started as well. The program is pretty awesome. 2 weeks ago I couldn't run 30 seconds. I finished the first 3 days using the free c25k from Zen labs. But doing some research I bought for $3 the ease into 5k app.

I really like that it tracks pace and distance run. I ended up doing day 2 of week one over again. It had 1 more minute run. Ended up at 1.9 miles in 31 mins. I can't believe I am running. Shooting for a 3k in about 3 months. Lots of people say they repeat weeks so don't think you have to keep going up when they say to. Good luck.

Thanks for the support. That app sounds brilliant - so far I am just using the treadmill as I am nervous about running outside, but maybe I should bite the bullet. I've done week 1 day 1 now 4 times and it is definitely getting easier.

Let's keep going!

Congratulations... it's such a great program, and I agree - smart phone app on that program is amazing!!!!!!!!!!! Totally revolutionary in my opinion. I wish you a lot of luck.
