It's official..after many many food funerals i have finally started my pre-op diet. Technically I am not having surgery until September/October(still not 100% with the exact date) but my Dr put me on a diet because my triglyceride levels are high and my cholesterol has gone up...So i am now forced to lose weight. I am hoping i can lose 40 pounds by the time surgery day arrives...
This sucks! I don't want to be on a diet! I hope that after surgery I won't be on a diet for the rest of my life..a lifestyle change yes ..but another diet? no!

I've never heard of a food funeral - LOVE IT!!! do food funerals include farewell speeches? songs? we could do a huge ceremony, including burial!!! sorry - it's been a long day...
what's your diet like? if you think of it as a new eating style, instead of a diet, it might help you get through this...
