Congrats! Now go to Costco and pick up a bag of bird seed and realize you're down 15 pounds more than that bag weighs.

As the sign says "The End Is Near!"

Ledge was close to, but he has dropped off the face of the earth.

Naked weight is below 238, which is what I hit 7 years ago. Now I am attacking fat cells that have been on my a$$ and gut since 1992. When I left the Marine Corps in 1990 I was at max weight of 218 for being 6'4". I remember once in the corps getting below 212. But then history is fuzzy. I do know I was 6'3" and a 133 pounds when I turned 16. I memorized every detail of my drivers incense. It is amazing to me how guys knew their weight when they were in some grade. I remember through my youth and twenties I was trying to gain weight and never thought about it much. When I hit my mid thirties, my prayers for weight gain were answered and then some! Ok I am done boring you gentleman with my history.

I was 200lbs in 6th grade, 210 at graduation, 210 when I went in to Basic and 175 when I got out of Basic/AIT. Naked weight this morning was 173 which is 4th grade weight and the least I've weighed since then. Needless to say I'm a bit taller than 4th grade so the weight looks much better on me now than then.

End of wk 17 and -2 for a total loss of 45lbs. I have 3 weeks and 8lbs to goal and unless something kicks up a bit I'm going to be a pound or 2 shy of making it. Guess I'll have to finish off in P2.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Please take a moment to reflect on it's meaning. To my fellow Brothers in Arms a tip of the hat and nod for your service. Ooh-RAH and Semper Fi!

Default Tuesday and on plan!

Good morning men. I trust you all stayed on plan during this Memorial day weekend and the weight losses are becoming so routine that no one has anything new to say.

I had a few extra packets due to 'hard labor', scale was kind to me this morning!

My daughter changed her facebook profile to me in my youth as a way of thanking me for my service, this was me with the Marine Detachment USS Oklahoma City CLG-5. She said it looked like I was approaching this weight.

I don't know GoBears, it's getting kind of lonely around here any more. That's a great pic of you in the Corps. The only thing I can find any where is a pic of me in Class As going to my E-6 board. I'm actually about 10lbs lighter now than I was then.

Well, my latest WI has me at 193.
A modest loss, but total down 28lbs starting week 7.
I am at the point where eating IP is totally routine and the losses have leveled out around 2-3lbs a week, which I am ok with.
another 4-6weeks and I'll be ready for P2!
goal weight on my birthday is probably the best gift I have received as an adult!

Congrats! I actually started on my birthday as a gift to myself. And as you said it's the best gift I've ever gotten.

Texans usually slam dunk this life style. Not to appear conceded, but sometimes I have to do a double take when I see myself in the mirror. I don't recognize that guy!

56 lbs! Nice going, at 28lb off, I am starting to see me again. 56 would be quite a transformation. Don't stop until you are where you want to be.

So I have a plan, stay on IP phase 1 until Sept 12 no matter what my weight then start P90X as that will bring me to Nov 12 which is the start of our family vacation... the other plan I'm thinking of is starting P90x now and adding another packet per day, I know it will slow my losses but at the same time I would be building muscle mass and getting more in shape for the vacation

I am no scientologist, but I think you could make your goal in 12 weeks without changing it up and be on phase 2 by sept 12.

I'd just be worried about mixing things up and phasing into a "regular" lifestyle.
My coach has me upping to 60% strenuous excercise for 40 min/day as of yesterday. I think it has to do with being at the 1/2 way mark or past.

Good luck, you are making some good progress there!

by 12 weeks or in 12 weeks? I doubt by 12 as I still have half the weight to go, what I was thinking is ditch my goal weight and whatever I weigh on September 12 will be what I weigh regardless if it's less than 160 which would be ideal, at that time start phase 2
