feeling really weak and shaky
It is day 3 of P1 for me and I'm feeling really super weak and shaky. It its making me really nervous. I had 3 eggs this morning with a half cup of black beans and a half cup diced tomatoes. This was about an hour and a half ago... Does this last long? Am I doing this right?

Your body is adjusting, it can take a few days. Some people are miserable the first week. It won't last. Make sure you're eating enough and don't skip your snacks. And be extra kind to yourself, you're going through a lot of changes.

That's right, Ntasha. It's The South Beach "Flu" but doesn't last long.

Some new beachers will experience headaches, too....beans and dairy help and don't skimp on meals. If you get really hungry, eat something even if you've already had your snack and avoid fruitloops lol.
It passes, for sure, but detox is good. Google symptoms of sugar detox if you want to read more.

It just feels so miserable. Ugh.
I feel dizzy too.
I went ahead and ate some yogurt. I feel better.

I second what the rest of these ladies said. It's what we refer to as the "South Beach flu" and it passes. Days 3 and 4 are typically worst, if I remember correctly. Getting your full servings of beans and dairy tends to help, as others suggested.

Gosh. It is so hard though. I just keep thinking that I had a really big problem. Haha. I feel like I'm detoxing off some hard stuff, not bread and chocolate. Ugh

Take headache medicine too if your head hurts really badly, don't suffer through it!
I just restarted yesterday, day 1 went down well, and day 2 has become harder. I'm like UG! I want chocolate but I'm trying to go cold turkey with chocolate.
