I agree with the above. I record both my weight and my measurements. I even set an "inch loss" goal. I weigh myself daily (not recommending that...it just works for me), but only track my measurements once a week. Sometimes I will lose inches but not lose weight. So, tracking both helps to keep me motivated.
And, yep, either tell your PT to get off the phone or find a new one who's more interested!
