Default Good morning!

I have been slogging away on week 3, despite some nasty diarrhea bug that my kids have passed on to me. I took Immodium all weekend, so I was able to spend the days at multiple baseball games, a student's musical and the Renaissance Faire, but I am sure that is messing with my bowels and my scale. I am trying to just ignore the numbers going back up and have faith that I am OP and this is still working. I feel a lot more normal today...thank goodness!

Good morning! I just caught up on the weekend threads. So true about being stuck at a weight until you let go of 'issues' you've had a that weight. It stinks when you feel yourself being held back but can't figure out the 'issue' I'm sure it will break eventually.
Rain stopped here so nice to see the sun again! Have a great day!

Oh my, Divadani, sorry you're sick. My advice is to STAY OFF THE SCALE when you have illness or injuries. Both cause inflammation, which is water weight. You'll just get inaccuracies which can be upsetting.

I'm on day 2 of summer break and day 4 of p2 (cycling through the phases in June). I'm surprised how quickly my body has gotten used to 2 meals, instead of just 1. The first day I was STUFFED!

I went back to PT yesterday for my back. I had taken some time off b/c I couldn't do most of it with my arm injury. It's always something!

I was hoping for a peaceful morning with coffee on the sunny patio but it is downright chilly for June here in St Louis. At least the heavens have tuned off the faucet for a few days!

Morning all!

This morning I discovered a new "recipe" for summer... Creamy Iced Coffee! My coach recommended it last week. Go to Dunkin Donuts (or in my case, Cumberland Farms) and order a small iced coffee in a large cup. Add 1 container of the premade vanilla drink. Wa-la! Creamy vanilla iced coffee My only problem so far is that it's BIG and I know I have to drink all of it!

Question: My 3 week weigh in is Thursday and my coach warned me that weeks 3 and 4 tend to be lower losses (or no losses). Have others experienced this? Do you rebound and get into a slower-than-week-1, but steady loss afterwards? Thanks!

Everyone is different on which week(s) or how much, but most seem to hit a phase of slower/lower losses. And if you stay on plan, you do rebound. Those big losses on week one, maybe week two, are mostly all that water we carry around. Don't get discouraged, just keep going

Day 15 with alternatives- down 12.6lbs! My belt is also a hole tighter today, and my shoes even feel bigger!
I have a wedding I'm going to Saturday... I think I'm going to keep a bar in my purse in case there are no suitable meats and hopefully there will be some veggies so I can munch down on some celery and tomatoes!
I'm so motivated to stay OP and not deviate at all. Thanks for all of your encouragement here!
