Default Bridesmaid Dress

I'm supposed to be a bridesmaid next year and I am very nervous because well because I am fat. The other two bridesmaids are skinny and that makes me get my butt in gear for next year.
I am not sure if I will have the same body type after I lose weight that I had before I gained it but I am guessing it will be similar. Before I gained weight I had a small waist, big butt, big boobs, and big thighs. If I lose weight, I need a type of dress that will look good for that build. If I don't lose weight, I need something that will look good on 300lb ball.
The bride isn't picky on style she just wants it a burgundy color.
Help?

Is the "apple" shade close enough to burgundy?

Does she want long or short dresses for the bridesmaids?

I love all the dresses linked above!!

It's so much easier working with an easy bride, you are so lucky she's open to you helping to choose the dress to wear! Have fun trying on a bunch to see what you like.

I am going to be wearing this dress in July, I am big all over! This dress is very flattering. Mine will be in smoke, and I am going to get it shortened to tea length! It comes in a nice burgundy color too. It wasn't even terribly expensive either! Good luck

I have the exact same body type as you haha
When my sister got married a few years ago, this is the dress I wore

It's a little young, I was only 14 at the time, but the shape was very flattering.
I have found that dresses with an empire waist are the most flattering, and they make me look taller
