Terrific Tuesday 6/4
Just a quick check in this morning since I have a couple minutes before I leave for work. Lovely sunshine outside but cool- only 47* right now. Personally I don't mind that the high will barely reach 70 today, it is the last week of classes and the kids are insufferable when it is hot.
Pleased that I was able to spend time in my flower bed yesterday. Planted some new shasta daisies, salvia and moved a few crowded yellow iris to an empty spot. I love this time of year.
Hope everyone has a hot cup of coffee to start the day; my thermos is ready to go! Off to earn some dough!
What's on your agenda today?

Good morning. It’s a tad chilly for coffee on the deck at 47º but sure is pretty out there. The birds seem a bit put out that I removed the bird feeder. I don’t feed them in summer as they should fend for themselves. Aside from that I want to hang a basket of flowers from the feeder hook! (Actually, this year it’s a basket of cascade tomatoes, red and yellow ones.)
Got no garden stuff done yesterday afternoon night as I found out nobody had organized things for the Saturday Mill Fish Fry! Joanne our manager is on holidays until the 9th and booked the fish frying guy but not desserts. I did some phoning and now have an army of pies coming. Some people will make other desserts but pies are the “thing” in the country.
I plan to put in some seeds and multiplier onions soon and then need to tiddle up to go to a funeral in Kingston. Frances and Bob have so many kids and inlaws and outlaws that I won’t be missed if I bail. My anti-biotics for the tooth problem make me pretty nauseous so we’ll see how I feel at 11. (I see the dentist tomorrow at 10 so don’t nag!)
Time to tidy the kitchen, make a smoothie and get on with the day. First on the list will be getting those seeds in and. After that more porch cleaning.
Hope your Tuesday is terrific!

I've been awake since 1:30; finally gave up and got up at 3:00 and tried to snooze to a boring book with no success. Could be all that crap I ate last night! So a nap is on my morning agenda, if I can manage to keep my eyes shut. Then grocery run. Then I work this afternoon. DH and I are going to look at flights today for our December trip since rumor is that fares do down on Tuesdays. They are already up from when we first were looking. I hate never knowing when to pull the trigger.
Have a great day.

Good morning chicks! I had mild panic attack there when the internet went down this morning , but all is good now!
I skipped my morning walk this am - I was way too exhausted last night. I slept until 5:50! Woo hooo! Today is a long work day - but I need to drop off some food porn for the teachers, then off to my day. I think I need to sprinkle my garden before I go as well.
I'm hoping someone else has something exciting going on!

Hey Ladies!
Today, I get to make a two hour drive for work and turn right around and come back. It is going to be a beautiful day so I don't really mind being out of the office. Walked to work this morning and it was nice and cool so I didn't make it here all stinky and sticky. Feels good.
Belly dancing tonight! I am excited!
Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning
Slow internet and many chores make for a quick pre-work check in. Food OP. I'm always grateful for that.
Have a great day everyone!

It's a gloriously cool and sunny morning here, and I'm still at home, waiting for power to be restored at the farm before heading over there. Yesterday was a downer of a day with some shattering news of a dear friend, plus a letter from the insurance company of the person who hit my car, saying I was to blame for the accident. Oh, really? Well, I have pictures to prove she was clearly at fault, but now I have to go through the hassle of dealing with that crap. Life ain't easy, is it?

It's a beautiful morning here in the South! Sunny and 69 right now.. with the promise of 87 later today... but no rain in the forecast for today! Since I don't have to be at work until 5pm.. I'm going to do a little yard work..time to switch out some of my pansies for something that will last the summer!
I sat out on my porch this morning with a hot cup of coffee and sorted all the seashells that I came home from vacation with. The sounds of the morning were so relaxing.... birds singing .. my new wind chimes blowing in the gentle breeze! It's good to be home!

Welcome back, PHinsUP, and thanks for mentioning wind chimes. I need some for my front porch.

Cottage - I'm sad to hear of your bad news. On the insurance front, doesn't your insurance co. handle that for you?

Yes, my insurance company is fighting for me, but with no witnesses it's a case of "he said, she said", so it's my company against hers, and the police report isn't citing either of us. I have learned an important lesson from all this, though. If you're ever involved in an accident, GET WITNESSES.

Another sunny chatty day on the beach. Just popping in to say "hi" the commute home is always enjoyable. Even when sitting on top of my duffle bag because it is standing room only again. Besides I won't put my bag on the over head rack ever!!! Too much important "costume stuff" coming home with me as I have overtime Friday. Looking forward to getting a ride in with Joe tomorrow after he gets home from work. Hopefully some garden time too. Need to thin out my crazy Lillie's of the valley. Enjoy your evening

just a late in the day hello. It's camping prep night. We are leaving Thursday morning for a long weekend at the Cape. There was supposed to be biking but the forecast isn't great right now. There will still be birding, relaxing, and walking on the beach. I'm working 14 hours tomorrow so tonight I'm making fudge babies (think chocolate energy bar bites), gluten free cheddar triangles, nut butter snack bars, and kale salad. We will take that along with turkey bacon and eggs and stuff for sandwiches. Then we will find a couple of meals at restaurants.
Cottage. I had a fender bender a few years ago and the accident report actually listed the damage on the wrong side of the car and said we were both at fault. Of course if he had noted the damage on the correct side it would have been obvious it wasn't my fault Luckily it as just a small dent.
ANd now back to cooking
