Yup, your poops really change when you change up your diet. Get more more fiber in your diet! Try adding some Chia seeds to your yogurt, or a bunch in a smoothie. If you are anything like me, you went from eating a bunch of junk (that ends up passing through your system quickly, not much nutritional value there) to eating much better for you foods. Throws your system for a spin, but it will start to work itself out. I used to be a 2-3 times a day pooper, now I can go a day or two without. I don't feel constipated or anything, I just don't have to go yet!

If you haven't pooped since May 4th, I'd really make a doctor's appointment soon. You don't want all of that building up inside.

Ohhh sorry, I misread then. As long as you don't have 3 weeks backed up in your body lol!

Yep, it's ok, your body should catch up. Maybe do what others said above or make yourself some cabbage or some other high fiber veggies.

I haven't had a decent poop since I started dieting. I used to poop lots every day in the morning like clockwork, after coffee. You could time your watch by it (my wife did).

Now, I do a real poop every second or third day. Less-in, less-out for me. No big deal.

Both my mouth and my ar$e are getting a well-deserved rest on this diet!

30+ years of being super fat, eating pretty much fast food garbage every single day in some manner, but I had regular BMs every single morning and evening, like clockwork!!

Fast forward about 2 months into the new way of life, and for about 5 MONTHS, I would eat and have to 'evaculate' about 5 minutes later!!! I saw doctors and specialists, nothing was wrong with me but WOW life was a misery!

An old guy doctor said "take immodium for a few days, it'll stop everything and maybe reset you"

IT WORKED lol

and ever since I was back to my regularly scheduled poops ha

I just can't poop normally since losing weight. No issues AT ALL becore losing weight.

I wouldn't be able to poop until I was about 3 miles into my run and then I couldn't NOT poop if you know what I mean. It was horrible and embarassing.

I met with a dietician last year and I was doing EVERYTHING right - she said sometimes the body takes years to adjust to massive changes.

So I take a shot of Miralax everyday and it has saved my a$$ and my sanity.

I'm still regular as clock work. Gotta pee and poop first thing after I get up in the morning. What has changed, though, is volume. There's so much less now!
