That sounds like a steady, sustainable loss of more than 1 lb per week.

Sure, we all want to lose weight as fast as possible--but it doesn't always work that way :-(.

You're doing great!

Of course it is! Any weight loss makes you healthier and it's really hard work. If you did it in a way that is slow and steady, then you're setting yourself up for great habits in the future. People who lose weight very quickly doing things that aren't sustainable in the long run, are much more likely to put the weight back on. You should really congratulate yourself and be very proud. As "they" always say...the weight didn't come on over night so it won't come off over night either. Well done!

I think you're doing great. That's more than I'm going to lose. I only have a goal of 45 pounds this whole year.

Thank you all for your lovely comments. Thinking about if you had said you me 9 months ago that I would have long 4 stone I wouldn't have believe it. I still have some way to go yet. I just got to keep at it and try to lose some more and try not put any back on. Thank you all again.

You really think that? I can't see how anyone would envy me. Sorry and thank you.

It has taken me almost five YEARS to get off 90+ pounds. And yet would anyone look at my before and afters (on my blog, link is in my signature) and claim I haven't been wildly successful? Speed of loss doesn't matter one whit - it is keeping it off once it is gone, and NOT gaining, that are the victories. The rest is just time and we can't necessarily control that factor
