Hello, everyone, this is PART VI of the One-week-at-a-time challenge. This is a challenge in the spirit of the 21-Day challenge, which I'm still continuing as well but. . .
I wanted something else, something short and sweet, where I can buckle down and go all out on and yet still come up for air before I burn out. So, I want to start up a ONE-WEEK CHALLENGE. Here, we'll look at the week as a whole, which also means we have room for slipups and unexpected evenings out, or whatever.
So, unlike the 21-dayer where you commit to doing something every, single day for 21 days straight or have to go back to START and count over the One-Week-at-a-Time challenge is going to be about things like saying; I will go to the gym 3x this week, or I keep my calories to a total of 14,000 for the week, or I will not eat anything after 6 p.m. 3x this week. So, if you want to eat 14,000 calories one day and fast for the next 6 fine! Or, you can go to the gym three days straight and then flop back and do absolutely zilch for the next four.
This way of attacking things will allow you to customize your challenge to suit yourself, allow for tortoise types and hare types to do their own thing AND means that getting back after after a fall doesn't mean you've lost any ground at all. It'll inspire that crucial element of success -- the POWER TO PERSIST!! I think it'll be a great motivator and great source of empowerment!!
SO, come on!! If you're interested please jump aboard and tell us your plan for the week and then keep us posted with progress reports and tell us when your goal is accomplished, be it early in the week or at the end. I'll do this starting Monday and wrapping up Sunday night of each week.

Me, my challenge will be duel cardio for 5 days (upped it one!) and to do either my pilates or abs tape everyday!!! I have a friend coming into town this week, so this is going to be a definate challenge for me to get this done!!
Good Morning Lovelies!! My challenge this week is yoga 5 times and iron horse for 5 days... I too have company coming so it will be even more of a challenge.. but i will do this. I am feeling like "ME" again so thats a relief!! LOL Remember to take care of u today... love you all
Last week was a success! I went to the gym Sat and Sun. Did 40min on treadmill Sat and 40min lower body on weights. On Sun, I did 45min on the treadmill and 50min upper body on weights. I also tried the pilates and bellydancing videos on Sat. I loved them!!
This week, I want to do cardio 4x and weights 3x. I'm also not going to have any candy at work! Day one of cardio is complete (35min this morning on treadmill).

My challenge for this week is to just stay the course, and hopefully get down to 140 pounds, that would mean a very reasonable loss of one pound. As far as a food challenge, I just want to make it thru the events I have to cook for!
Ahhh!! I cannot find my ab workout tape!! So I will only be excercising on the ball again 4-5x's this week....hopefully I will find the tape by next weeks challenge. (or I'll have an excuse to go shopping!!)

Hi everyone! Thanks Cherie for getting us started this week. Last week was successful for me except for the no sweets. I knew that would be the toughest. This week, I will try that again and try to do the Total Gym 4xs. Onward to Tuesday! Tess

Day 1 was good. Now on to Tuesday! I have a late reception tonight, so right now I'm declaring that I won't eat anything from it--because it'll be well past 7:30.
Yeah--I was wondering about the suns too?? I think we've all made our last week goal.
Well two days down. Abs have better be shrinking!! Cannot wait to see a side profile of my body and see that my gut IS smaller than my bust!!! That'll be happy dance time!!
Hey everyone!!! Got in my second day of duel cardio. Tomorrow.. I won't do it because my friend from CA is coming in! I will do something tomorrow night, but we are meeting as soon as he flys in tomorrow afternoon!!! I did my pilates and my abs video today... so that part is going well too!!!
Anyway.... I am about to go to bed.... Of course you get your suns.. haha.. but I will wait and let Red Balloon give them to you! :-)
I just had to post! You're weight has gone down again!! Congrats girl!! You're losing like crazy!! Your company you have coming better notice!! You are an inspiration!! I feel stuck here at 142....and sometimes it goes back to 144....frustrating. But... It'll pass I know. So far it's staying at 142...... if it just stays.....
