Morning all,
I just wanted to say hi. I'm just starting IP (on day 2 today) and I really appreciate all the information and support on these forums. I've read a lot of the intro threads but I'm sure I missed something, so if this isn't the right place for an introduction I apologize. Anyway, here goes nothing. Have a lovely day everyone!

Day 2 for me too! How did it go yesterday? I think I did pretty good
Bar for breakfast, packet for lunch, dinner was chicken with zuchinni, squash, and cauliflower rice.

This is the perfect place for an introduction. Days 2-4 can be really rough, so hang in there.

Morning, All --
I haven't seen you all since last week! ( Ragdoll -- LOVE your new pic! Looking good!!)
We had a very busy Saturday and spent most of it on the road. I stayed OP as far as not having anything off program, but I was not able to get all my veggies and all my protein in (had to settle for a salad from WaWa with mustard as dressing for dinner). I had an extra shake to compensate for the protein deficit. I've been hungry ever since. Does that mean I need another shake or anything?? I'm inclined to ride it out and bear with it -- unless it would actually be helpful to add more protein. Anyone have a strong opinion on this?? WI is tomorrow. If it is good, I have a feeling this hunger will be easier to bear. I'm funny like that.

Anyone else have a hard time getting up in the morning while on phase 1? Normally I'm able to get up with little issue but lately I just keep hitting snooze on my phone

Thanks SylviesGirl.
Hunger a lot of times is a signal that there will be a good WI. Try to stick it out. At this point I don't think you should try to make up for the calories you missed on Saturday.

Try going to bed earlier and see if it helps you.
I sleep about 30-60 minutes more each night since being on IP, and wake up well rested.

If anyone is interested in an ActiFry by T-fal private message me. I have a gently used one I'd like to find a new home. I thought I'd use it more but since I only cook for one, it just sits on the shelf looking sad

Welcome - Good luck in your first week I just completed my first week and am onto my second. I had a fantastic first week and found this diet very easy to follow. I was full, never hungry and actually found a lot of food I love! My favorite is a warm chocolate drink for breakfast (just like hot chocolate) and I love the chicken noodle & cream of broccoli soups, yesterday I found a new bar (peanut butter bar) YUMMY!!! The dill pickle zippers are just like Dill pickle chips and the Salt and Vinegar ones are a lot like Crispers. I don't even feel like im on a diet.
Anyway good luck and Welcome!! You will love this site. Its very informative and supportive! Great bunch of people in here!
Thought this 'quoted' FaithgogMA as well. But it looks like it never, sorry about that. Welcome to you as well
