Default Taking the day off.

My oldest is having some fairly extensive oral surgery today and with the autism and non verbal it's going to be a nerve wracking time in the hospital. So I'm giving myself the day off from really "calorie counting". I just can't worry about that today. I'll still try to make better choices and not just "go all out" with it. Tomorrow I will just go back to my normal ways and start counting again also thinking I might try IF see if it can help control the calories better.

Hope the surgery goes good. Please drink plenty of water. Maybe bring a bottle with you to the hospital

Thank you, I do plan on bringing along the water bottle. I don't want to have to drink "regular" soda or coffee all day. I don't trust the machines to have healthy choices and I won't drink out of hospital fountains.

I'll send positive thoughts and energy to you and your son!

I like the idea of the water bottle.

I have to say, I think hospital cafeterias are pretty decent and they typically have healthier options. I think you'll be just fine and certainly don't need the added worry of counting calories.
