nice to see so many people join
bad news is.. i am doing prettttty bad.
when i started this competition i didn't have a scale, it broke 2 weeks ago... and 152 was what i weighed back then.. they got mine fixed (actually it's a new one) today... its 9 pm and i checked my weight more to check if the scale works than anything else... and i didn't like what i saw...: 154 lbs
so i will weigh in tomorrow and will do that my official starting weight.
so basically at work i do pretty bad, but when i come home it's worse.
i am starting to believe that i really need to commit to working out. in fact i want to commit to running. i have tried many times, my goal is to be a runner, 10k maximum, 5k to start.
like i said many times i started and many times i have stopped for whatever reason. last time i was doing it was at night after work.
i am wondering if maybe it would be better to do it in the morning before work, feel that energy through the day...
it is more unconvenient for me, cause i do not like waking up too early, and i do not want to shower in the morning (i am a "shower at night" kind of person)
also the good thing about running after work, is that it gives me a reason to go out, and therefor not eat.... and then when i come home after running, i do not binge, cause i feel good about the workout.
so ok, i need to commit to running after work.
but i also need to change eating habits.
first of all, i am thinking that no matter how many calories it can be (up to 350?) i need a really good breakfast.
because many times they starve us at work, i cannot starve from so early in the morning!!!
cereal, or bread... and i think also eating maybe an orange, or drinking orange juice (no weight related, just heathy)
then in the morning, two apples should be enough to make it to lunch.
lunch, needs to be veggies and cottage cheese NOTHING ELSE. i say this because my job offers salad, cottage cheese, bread, cheese slices, and CHOCOLATE. (well this is when we are lucky, sometimes there is no food).
so i say veggies and cottage cause i rather not eat bread again if i ate carbs in the morning... and definitely stay away from the chocolate!!!
now, what if there is no lunch? maybe i need to have the gutts to say "you don't offer food today, so i will take 20 minutes of my work time to go get some food at the market". but it does require me breaking the rules a little bit because i swear no one says anything, they all just binge on chocolate and rice crackers, something that is never missing.
then at around 3-4 when i am a bit hungry again, have some almonds and dried fruit (which i bought today).
then i come home, and i guess i should eat something, maybe a banana and GO RUNNING!
if it's a non running day, make myself a big salad. why not?
dinner with the boyfriend: whatever. just make sure it's a small portion...
AND alway make fruit THE snacking option. i have them in front of me as i type, on a bowl... why i don't grab a piece and eat it, why do i always go for the chocolate?
anywhoooo, tomorrow in the morning iwll be official weigh-in :/
sorry for all the blabbering!!!
