Exclamation forgot my food !

I have to run a mile for my fitness test at 8 am today. The only problem is that I'm on my way and I forgot my lunch packet at home ( I'm so mad at myself )! should I just eat when I get home? the only problem is that I get really weak with no food.

Have your protein meal in the cafeteria & packets later.

I have extra packets stored EVERYWHERE! In my purse, desk at work (do you have a locker?), and in the cars. This happened to me once and I'm trying to make sure it never happens again.

I agree with Lisa on just swapping dinner and lunch.

The other option would be to pick up som EAS carb advantage shakes if there is a Walgreens or another store near by. That really depends on if you are able to leave campus during the day.

Any drugstore will have a "diet" section, they usually have a few options for bars or RTD shakes. EAS Carb AdvantEDGE and Pure Protein both fit the P1 guidelines. The bars can be trickier, but there's usually at least one available that fits the bill.

Definitely do not go all day without eating. If you can't get out to purchase something like an EAS shake, can you get some relatively plain protein (tuna, chicken breast, hamburger, hard boiled eggs, etc.) and veggies/salad?

Yup
Hb eggs are a good alternative. Even the patty of a hamburger if you are really desperate.
Otherwise salad, raw veggies, etc.
You may be hungry, but hunger is not an emergency. Consider it a chance for your body to burn a little extra fat.
Make sure to make up for what you missed when you get home.

I don't know what teenagers use these days to cart their school supplies & books around in? Do you use a tote... or a shoulder bag or something? Or do you have a locker at school? If so, I'd recommend you stash a few emergency bars and maybe a bottle of water & some protein shake powder in your tote/shoulder bag/locker and just leave them there for future emergencies. That way you can drink some of the water and pour the powder in and shake it up in the bottle. Take your normal daily food supplies with you, and leave these extras their so you have them to fall back on for any such similiar emergency. Hope you were able to find something reasonable to eat.
