There's a lot of people who have done BFL on the Ladies That Lift thread. You may try over there, I'm sure they've got lots of advice and inspiration for you.

Hi there,

I've tried BFL and it's a great plan but I do love my cardio exercise. He is more into weightlifting than cardio. I still did my hour cardio but I didn't finish through the entire plan. I personally couldn't deal with the day off. I was so thrown by eating whatever I wanted that it would take a couple of days to get back on track, so I stopped. I don't have the will power to eat what I want and then back on track the very next day. So I decided it wasn't for me.

I see 4 girls at the gym who are doing the BFL. I don't see a difference in any of them but only 1 is heavy and the others are very thin so I believe they are trying to build muscles. I believe you need the entire package, vitamins and all for this plan.

Just my 2 cents worth!

BFL is a fabulous and sound plan for losing body fat and gaining muscle. Everyone over at the "Ladies who Lift" part of the forum can help you greatly there...I totally believe that everyone should incorporate regular strength training into their routine, and not just do cardio. They are both important, but they do different things, and a balanced plan will have both.

It's an excellent plan, but working full-time I found it hard to get six meals in a day. I work in a very busy office and I couldn't drop what I was doing to get my meal, then eat when I was supposed to be working. I tried protein bars instead, but even then it was tough for me.

Although I didn't complete the 84 day challenge, parts of the plan stay with me and I'm glad I tried it. I'm getting back to lifting this week after three months of insane overtime at work, and thanks to BFL I have a great guide to use.
