Does everyone take before and after photos? I took one in my very target dress, it was not pretty. How horrifying!! LOL

I was just talking to DH last night about wishing I did take a before pic...I didn't because I've had so many failed diets that I didn't expect too much from this one. Fortunately (or not) there are a bunch of pics of me from New Year's Eve which was 2 weeks after I started so I have those. But DH was saying he wished he had taken the before pics in just bathing suit or bra and undies so I could really see the changes he is seeing...I don't know if I could've handled that emotionally! LOL But he is a great guy and my biggest supporter!

I have Before-before pictures of my heaviest weight. (almost 40lbs more than when I started IP) and then, the day I started IP I did the "biggest loser" type photo with the spandex shorts and sports bra (for my eyes only!). One front, one side shot. My daughter has been taking the pictures of me, each month anniversary of the diet.

I have 3 photos so far...and boy see it in a photo is WAY better than seeing it in person in the mirror. You just can't see the difference when you "see" yourself every day. I'm glad I'm doing this.

And then I take pictures when I have a reason to dress up in new, smaller clothes. I have our family Christmas photos (I started the diet on 12/26) and then I have me dressed up for a Valentine's brunch for my writer's group. The next "nice" picture will be my brother's wedding in May.
