That is definitely NOT a phase 1 recipe. Looks like a Phase 4 recipe. You cannot have the cheese or the pita pocket until maintenance.

You can use this recipe:
http://kountrywheyidealprotein.com/g...uliflower.html

Use walden farms marinara sauce, and 2 Tbsp Veggie Shreds (Go Veggie) soy cheese and it will be fine as a once-in-a-while treat. Just make sure you add up all the veggies so you know how to count it

Oooh another cool site to check out with lots of recipes. Thanks for sharing!

I just bought a pizza kit from "Low Carb Grocery Store" and so I'll let you know how it tastes etc. when it comes. I'm nervous now about ordering things on line after watching about that Carb-Free bread posted earlier (if you haven't seen that video, go to the Carb-free bread post. It's a wee bit scary what we eat sometimes!)

Oh-oh. Just to clarify......since we're talking about pizza (MY favorite meal in the whole wide world).....I purchased the Protidiet pizza. This is considered a daily restricted, not a "couple times a week restricted", right? Also..... How do u measure the veggie shreds and count it?
Thx!

Sorry OP.....didn't mean to hijack ur thread!

Right - the Proti Diet pizza is 10g NET carbs, so just a regular restricted.

I used 1 Tbsp veggie shreds occasionally as one of my "extras" for the day - 1 Tbsp is 18 calories, less than 1g fat and 0 carbs/0 sugars.

When I crave pizza I made this crust (minus the cheese) It's all about the seasoning in the "crust" It always cuts my craving.

I had the cauliflower pizza for dinner tonight, yum! I used veggie cheese shreds and red pepper puree for the sauce instead of tomato sauce. For the first time, I made a 'large' pizza with the intent of having the leftovers for dinner tomorrow night. I hope it crisps up okay for the second time.

I use the IP pancake mix for my pizza. I add tons of herb seasonings + 2 egg whites and 1/2 tsp baking powder. I bake it on a silpat in a 350 degree F oven for 10 minutes, flip it and bake an additional 3 minutes. It always comes out perfect. I put that on a plate and add the following I have sauteed in a pan:
garlic, evoo, crushed red pepper, sliced mushrooms, green pepper, green onion, roma tomato slices, fresh basil leaves.

I top with additional fresh basil leaves, crushed red pepper and sea salt sprinkle-for me, it is heaven.

I have also added grilled chicken to this but prefer the veggie pizza.

Lots of ideas on here for IP phase 1 pizza!
