Hi. I just started and made the oatmeal for the first time-it has lumpy and hard chunk in it. It tastes weird. I usually love oatmeal for breakfast so any advice on how to improve it would be helpful. Can I add something to it? Thanks
I soak mine about 30 minutes in HOT water prior to cooking it. And I add an extra ounce of water and cook about 30 seconds to a minute less in the microwave. And add cinnamon. And vanilla. Stir, then let it set for about 2 minutes.
