VERY long, but a good read.

Makes me happy to say that I've never bought a lunchable, nor will I ever. I haven't bought chips in eons.

But BOY did I LIVE on chips and cheese puffs. THAT is my weakness! Salty simple carbs. Oh boy! Good thing some nuts can do it for me now for the "go to salty" snack (And I can keep it at the 1/4 cup size portion as I measure it out!)

I finally got a chance to sit down with the actual magazine section from this Sunday's paper (better late than never I guess...) last night and read this article... I actually enjoyed it and found it pretty interesting, which I wasn't expecting... and now I'm interested in reading the book when it comes out... and who knows maybe this piece will be the start of something really big... sort of like for Gary Taubes after his piece appeared in the Times magazine section back in 2002...
