Question Salad dressing ideas?

I really need to find some good low-fat salad dressing. I just can't stand most Italian dressings and the only dressing I do not get sick of is ranch! But I know that is not the best choice.

I have this problem

My favourite simple approach is lemon and a bit of oil.

If you want to get fancy, try blending one option from A, and B, and as many as you like from C

A
Lemon/Lime juice (fresh only please)
Vinaigre (any kind)

B
Oil
Tahini

C
Garlic
Parseley
Coriander
Ginger
Spices of your choice
Pickled peppers (I like the green small ones that sometimes come with greek salads)
Capers

Another option I like involves nutritional yeast and tamari but thats not for everyone.

Default Yummy ranch

Bolthouse farms yogurt based ranch - in the bagged salad area at walmart - is excellent. My older kids prefer it to HV. My younger kids have never had HV.

You can make your own ranch using plain fat free yogurt (I use fat free greek).

TO a six ounce container, add:
1/2 tsp dried chives
1/2 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp dried dill weed (this is the ranchy ranch flavor)
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper

OR - buy the "buttermilk ranch" envelope, and just add half of that to the yogurt.

Stir it up, add a splash of milk if you need to thin it. Stir some more.

Low carb, fat free, high protein yummy deliciousness.

I've just been using a bit of White Balsamic Vinegar on my salads.
