I had a handful of honey roasted peanuts that weren't part of my plan... But other than that I stuck to my guns, so I actually finished eating for the day before the game even started... Although I have to admit I was tempted by some leftover chicken wings when I was cleaning up the kitchen, but when I took a good long look at them I realized they just weren't worth it... and I think my body is thanking me for that decision today...
We got food from Sonic. I decided it was okay because I deserve a cheat meal every once in a while. I had a BLT Ultimate grilled cheese sandwich, a little sweet tea, and a couple of tater tots. Then I had a little bit of Marble Slab ice cream. Not horrible considering that previously, I would have eaten like 2 sandwiches, a ton of tater tots, a ginormous cherry slush and then a huge serviing of ice cream. I know I'll have to work extra hard at the gym this week, and I know my weigh-in might not be what I want, but I don't feel gross and horrible because I didn't eat like a crazy person!
I made healthy snacks, too! Except for the tortilla chips! I had healthy portions of everything, and even made boneless, white meat buffalo tenders instead of wings. I was stuffed, and it was good for us.
Hah, now I feel terrible that I had those tortilla chips with salsa.... well no not really. They were good and I did after all not touch the other goodies. I made my husband take the chips and cupcakes to work with him so he could share with this office buds.
There was a box of cookies left behind.... I had one today.... then I threw the rest out in the trash and spilled some mustard on them so I wouldn't eat them lol.
Well, I didn't exactly cave in because it was planned but I did go a a little overboard with the hot wings, fries, ribs AND alcohol. No biggie, taking it easy today and tomorrow to sort of even it out or to at least reduce the "damage" done from last weekend.
