Default I like big butts and I cannot lie...

Lol... So I don't necessarily want to be skinny. I think thick is sexy. I like my big thighs and I'd love the big butt to match. And it's there, just big saggy. I want big plump. Anyone else looking to get the same? How do you loose everywhere but gain there??? Anything special you eat/don't eat? Any certain exercises you do/don't do?

Lots of squats, lunges, and kettlebell exercises. It'll firm up your thighs and glutes and give them that nice full but strong appearance. I'm with you; I like having thicker thighs and a rounder backside, and luckily for me I actually like working out my legs. I need to start paying attention to my arms, though....

I love big booties, too! My booty is still round and proportionately big. I think it is genetics.

I know seem people on here have been successful with squats, etc, and that will certainly firm.

Yea I'm definitely gonna keep up on those. Coming from a creole background my fam has all different kinds of suggestions of what I "should" be eating... Lets just say its not things I "need" to be eating.

U other brothers can't deny. Lol
I wish I love big butts too, ha ha that sounded funnier after I wrote it than in my head. I am unlucky in that department. I was more of an apple. In hs boys told me my butt was as flat as the wall, but my boobs were big. Well now my boobs have shrunk and my butt is actually getting some shape. Not really a lot but it makes such a difference to me. I was doing squats and the kettle bells but have kinda stopped. I wonder if the elliptical is shaping my butt.

I've always had a flat butt. Same with my husband. Guess who has nice firm butts now? My hubby and me at 43 and 46 and we're still working ont it. My do weight training. Big fat butts are not attractive but nice FIRM butts, are!

I'll trade you guys any day! I have a wide booty and hips, which Is where I carry most of my weight. I can wear a L shirt on top but wear a 18/20 on bottom. Talk about frustrating.. I kinda feel out of proportion. But that's the life of a pear!

I don't mind working out my butt or legs because I have so much muscle there, but I feel like the more I work out those areas, the bigger they get. How can I get them to slim down without adding bulk?

The grass is always greener on the oth side!

There aren't any foods that help with body shape, though that would be nice!

I've never had a plump rear, as I gained it got wider only. Now it's kind of sad, saggy, and flat, which is my own fault for not keeping up with my weight training. I'm back to it now and I'm hoping to add some volume to my booty! I think some nice curves are very attractive.

@Airycuh - The slimming part will come with fat loss, so just keep it up. As far as not adding muscle, or adding minimal muscle -- since you are eating in a deficit adding muscle is hard as it is, so that's good news, for that area anyway. If it were me I'd keep the reps higher rather than lower, and not go to failure weight-wise.

Some heavy weight training with squats did wonders for me. I had a big butt, then it got flat as I lost. When I added heavy squats to my weight training routine, I got a nice round booty

Well you can't add "bulk" when you're eating at a deficit. Lifting while losing will help you get rid of the fat and keep the muscle. Unfortunately you can't quite decide where it comes from...

Weight training might help balance you out and make your bottom appear smaller. I started out as a pear shape, but as I weight trained (even while still obese) I wound up as an hourglass. Even now at goal I am an hourglass.

I'm all boobs and no butt. It seems like it even got flatter with pregnancy. I'm doing heavy squats and lunges in the hope that I will one day have something there. Once I'm done losing weight I might do a bulk cycle and really focus on building there (as well a elsewhere) and eventually hope to use muscle to sculpt the body I want.

I love this. I have a big wide kind of saggy butt. I'd love to get it round and firm. I said that I was going to give those Brazil Butt Lift DVDs a try.

Oh man, I wish I could even SEE where my bum ends and my legs begin!! It just seems to go straight out from my waist and stop at my knees

And my measurements are 36-40-46 which is just BAD. I am certain there is a human being shape underneath there somewhere, and I look forward to seeing it! *crosses fingers*

I have heard that doing high resistance elliptical but keeping your heart rate low will really firm up your booty. Mine isn't very big, hahaha, so I can't really speak to that.

I saw Spanx the other day with the built-in foamy style butt. I'd look like I was towing a bus if I tried to wear them! I wish I had no butt.
