Question Third week---cravings???

Hello! I am in my third week. I have done well so far, but I have a question. I saw somewhere not to eat bars for the first two weeks on IP, so I didn't. This week I have had 2, one Tues and one Wed. Yesterday and today I have been sooooo hungry and craving--like all I want to do is eat!!!! I have drank water--tons and even had a Hard Boiled egg (I will subtract 2oz from my dinner).

My question is: Is this from the bars? What in the world is going on? BTW, I am not at my TOM.....

Thanks all,
Barb

I've had a couple of hungry days along the way but never really could tie it to anything specific. Try hot tea and see if that helps. If you think it could still be the bars, try dropping them and see if it makes a difference.

I have had the bars from day one, I usually only eat one every other day (if that) and have had no problems.

Hmmm, not sure, I always get super hungry when I have been more stressed than usual or TOM coming.

I have bars everyday since the beginning. The phase one sheet says 2 non-restricteds and 1 restricted per day. It only limits a handful of the restricted items to once a week.

Like Calisto, I get really hungry with TOM.

Only spaghetti is more limited: twice weekly per the phase 1 sheet.

It seems like I had a hungry week the third or 4th week. I'm guessing the body freaking out and trying to get you to stop this. It passes.

Thanks! I've been on alternatives so long I couldnt remember exactly what the extra restricteds were. I thought there were some cookies or something that were limited too.

lisa32989 what were you told about the rotini? restricted or unrestricted?

I have bars or IP salty, savory snacks every day as my mid afternoon snack.

Unrestricted.
I don't eat it b/c it contains gluten (and soy I believe) but it is unrestricted. My coach did comment that it is in the higer-carb realm so if it affected losses, it might want to be restricted or limited to a few times/week but IP says unrestricted.

I prefer salty/savory, as well. Now that I'm more limited (after cutting out both gluten AND soy because of thyroid problems that started since IP) I'm exploring more muffin flavors with the potato puree. I'm still using up a few more soup packets but when they are gone will not be re-purchasing (due to soy protein). Somebody a while back also made "chips" with the potato puree and was using them with some salsa
