Default Mac n Cheese=Gross!

I'm sorry to say it (because I adore mac and cheese) but the Medifast mac to me is disgusting. Anyone else find it to be gross or have any doctoring besides a lot of pepper?

I thought if everything else was kinda nasty that the mac would be my saving grace because I seriously could eat it five times a day if it tasted halfway decent.

I've ordered shakes and bars that should be here Friday. I think I may have to concentrate on those and spend more money than expected

For me I couldn't figure out how to cook it right, but I think it's ok now if i get the texture right in the microwave. I have been eating the cheese puffs 3x daily because they are quick and easy. I just don't have time at work to mess around with the Mac & Cheese. BTW the shakes are even better if you blend them with 3-4 ice cubes!

Thanks for the Mac and cheese info- I will just order one to "see" how it goes. On the shakes, If you take the soft bake choco chip cookie, add it to a blender or Ninja, add the water and crushed ice and 1 tsp LF cream cheese and blend well-- It makes THE most wonderful cookie dough shake.

I like it fine, to me it tastes like Kraft. However it is too saucy, so I am going to add 1/2 c broccoli to it next time. I have read that using 3 oz of water instead of 4 oz is key.

I made it as directed and it was thick and pretty good. Didn't hate it and I'm pretty picky. I've only been on the diet for 2 days so I'm sure it will taste better when I haven't eaten pasta in weeks.

I have to say that I don't mind it as much as some other the other items such as Parmesan Cheese Puffs

I added some salt pepper and parsley and have even added some hot sauce for an extra kick. It's okay if you're craving for something more substantial.

I followed the directions and put a plate over it for about 3 mins ...
Hope that helps

I thought it was pretty tasteless and tiny, even by medifast standards. I had to add lots of black pepper and bacon salt make it ok. I will not be reordering.

Ive found tha makeing it according to the package makes it come out watery. So I put a little less water and let it sit in the fridge for about 15 minutes after its cooked.Comes out very thick and creamy.I put creaol or seasoning salt in it.Helps the taste alot.

I let it sit in the fridge for an hour or two before heating. Then I cook it longer and let it sit so it can soak everything up. I think it's just the after taste that it has that throws me off.

I put plenty of pepper in it to cover as much as I can. I've ordered so much I won't be wasting it. I just eat it as fast as I can and then drink a lot of water to rinse out my mouth.

I hated it on day 2 when I tried it. I had it yesterday for lunch and it was pretty darn good. It's the signature taste of the MF food that you have to get used to. I personally cant do the puffs....yuck!

I used 3oz of water and stirred the **** out of it for a good 5-6 minutes after...and it was good!
