Default Clothing size and weight question

Hello!

Has anyone found a way to estimate what size they would be if they lost a certain amount of weight? Any calculators or websites out there that I haven't been able to find.

I'd rather be a certain size and not worry about what the scale actually says. If I could be a size 18 or 16 I don't care if the scale says 250.

Any help? Thanks!

That's hard, because it really depends on your shape, muscle mass etc. If you check out mybodygallery.com you can put in your height and the size you want and see women with weights posted who are that size. It looks like women who are 5'10 and are a size 18 are ranging anywhere between 280-235, which is a BIG range. I've found that the larger the size, the larger the weight range.

I think it varies on the person. At 280ish, I was a 24. Now at 18X I'm in 8's and 10's. It took about 45lbs to go from that 24 to a 20. I was in 16's and 18's in the 230/220 range. I was in 14's up till 200, and then 12's in the 190's and now 10's in the 180's. When I was in the 170's (pre vacation/holiday/life heck, lol & working out daily) I was in loose 8's and could even wear some 6's. I'm a long-torso'd 5'7".

It depends on so much, your body build and shape. But at my highest i was 230 and wore a 20/22, i have lost 100 pounds and can wear anywhere between a 4-6. Now if i could do something about my apron of extra skin i could probably get down to a sz 2. Now i know many who weigh the same as me and wear both bigger and smaller sizes it all comes down to body shapes

It greatly varies. I'm 218lbs and a size 12 and I'm only 5'7. I was a size 14/16 at 250lbs and a size 18 at 275/280 and 20 at 300 and 24/26 at 335.

It also varies by store. I can wear at least one size smaller in JCrew than most other stores.

Unless pregnancy changed my body more than I think it did, I know for me that at my current weight (141) I'm a 6-8. I won't be able to fit into my size 4 clothes until I drop below 130. Keep in mind I'm only 5ft tall and have a petite build. It's just unfortunately covered in fat right now.

Yup, it really varies. I'm 5'10" and 228, and I've a size 14. At 247, my highest, I was a size 18.

I think it varies a lot by body shape. I am 5'11" and at 212- 220 I can wear a 34 waist or a 14. At 202-212 I can wear a 32 or 12. I also depends on the brand. In Maurices brand I am a size or 2 smaller. In Silver Jeans I am a 34 or 32. In dresses I am a 14. Also in a large shirt.

I'd like to update that just 2-ish lbs less and I'm down to a 12. I need to check my measurements; I haven't done that in several weeks.
