WELCOME BACK!! I'm starting over after "taking off" for the holidays LOL I'm going to try to get menu planning done for next week and write a shopping list so I can get back on hard core Phase 1 for the month of January to lose the 8 pounds I've gained since Thanksgiving. Good luck to you!!

For me anything that makes leftovers! Usually a casserole, soup crock pot meals. This way I have choices when I look in the fridge or freezer. Not to mention the guilt of not wanting to waste any food with groceries at an all time high. The recipe boards offer great choices, plus the reviews have helped me in my cooking abilities. Don't be afraid to try things that may sound a little strange.

I use the SB cookbooks often. I have my favorite recipes marked, which makes it a bit easier for planning. I also try to saute some veggies in the beginning of the week so I can make quick omelets in the morning, but what I've really found helpful in the morning are the egg "muffin" recipes. I'll make a bunch of egg muffins during the weekend and package them in zip lock bags to grab and go all week long.

Welcome! I love reading the cookbooks and menu plans. I can't say I'm all that good in following them...... but there are lots of good ideas, and very good, simple recipes in there. Best of luck!
