Hey all,
I finally gave up and went to my doc today about getting some help with losing weight. I've been getting regular exercise and diet for the last 5 months w/o result, and I commend myself for not just giving up and going hog-wild on the debbie snacks.
My doctor recommended me "Pregnitude"... apparently it is a dietary supplement and NOT a prescription, but offers similar benefits to treat insulin resistance but w/o the side effects of metformin. My twin sister has tried met and had seriously bad side effects, so I'd rather not go there. I'm going to give this a try, but I wanted to see if anyone else has tried this for weightloss? Originally it's intended to help regulate your cycle for conceiving, but also helps with IR. It's located behind the counter in the pharmacy, but like i said, non-Rx.
Thanks for any input on this!
Erin
