I am new to this site but hoping to get some help and support when I start to lag on my latest diet so that this one becomes my last diet !

I only started a week ago and have a long way to go but feeling hopeful ..

Is anyone else in Essex ?

I'd love a diet and/or exercise buddy .

Hiya! I'm a newbie too

I got my puppy from Essex! lol

I'm about the same weight as you!

I've already lost 51 lbs but I need to start exercising... eurgh!

Have you got a goal date? Like a special occasion or something? Or maybe a dress you want to fit into? I find that has helped me loads in sticking to my diet!

Looking at your weight goals I'm quite similar to you. I started at 266 am currently at 201 and am aimingfr 162.

Hi girls... thanks for the warm welcome - much appreciated ...

I don't have a specific goal as such apart from that we were lucky enough to be gifted a towing caravan recently and I just can't imagine myself moving about in it at this size !!!

I used to own a gym and while I was in that environment, eating right and LOTS of exercise I was VERY happy with my weight... soon as the gym went I started putting on and on and on ...

I know what to do, its been sticking to it in the past few years (the other couple of times i've tried to diet) that's got me, I lose a few stone and give up. I really don't want to do that this time.

I started properly last Monday, I'm going to weigh myself in 2 weeks time, I started walking (quite fast) last week also, went out 3 times - 3 miles twice and 4 miles the other time. Went out today on my 'regular' route... I'm aiming for 3 times a week, maybe 4. I want to make it a habit and I know that's going to take time.

So, that's me in a nutshell....

Hi guys!

I've been searching for an exercise/gym/weightloss buddy for awhile now since moving home from uni!

I just found this site today and realise that this is an old post but if there is anyone interested, I'm from the Ilford area and will be working in West Thurrock! I've been running every other day and currently average about 2 miles per run at 14 minutes a mile!

I'm more than happy to travel reasonable distances... Like Ilford-Chelmsford distance if you know the Essex area!

I hope I hear from someone!
