Default I Bought A Scale >_<

I knew this was a bad idea. I've read so many people who buy scales and become obsessed and weigh themselves everyday.

Buttt, I don't have access to a regular one, and don't like weighing msyelf in public (at the gym). So I figured I'd just buy a $20 one from walmart so I could keep track maybe once a week.

Ive already been on the darn thing 3 times today! It's really odd how much weight fluctuates in just a day! It's making me crazy!! lol

Should I just take it back?

Does this happen to everyone when they first buy their scale? Will I get over this "obsession" in a few days? Should I hide it in my house so I don't see it every time I go in my bathroom?

I suggest weighing once in the morning, if I weigh myself for the rest of the day it's for observation purposes only.

LOL! I am laughing with you, not at you. We have more darned troubles with the scale. I finally invested in a balance scale. Somehow, I believe what it says and only weigh myself once in the morning. Except when I weigh myself again later, or on my old scale which weighs me several pounds less...or when I need to weigh the cat...

Lol! Ok! I'll weigh myself every morning. Gonna go run now, hoping I will be lighter again tomorrow morning!

I have a balance scale at my gym, but I hate adjusting in front of everyone! I feel like the whole gym is watching me >_< Wish I had one at my house, but that's not in my budget right now lol.

I'm like thedollylala. Generally morning is my only time however if I face obstacles(higher fluctuations) i will hop on it more often. You might do better with a scale, I feel I do. Its a lot like a food journal. Some tools keep us on target.

Thanks for the advice! Yea I think Ill keep it, at least it reminds me to stick to my plan so I don't binge ^_^
