Canned soups, canned chillis, tuna, beans, lentils, brown rice, quinoa, canned fruit in water, almond milk, coconut milk, oatmeal, whole wheat bread, sweet potatoes (they last forever!), canned salmon, dark chocolate bars (70% and above is best), Lara bars, nuts (individual packets are best), trail mix, nut butters (almond butter, peanut butter), Ryvita crackers, Whole grain crackers (check ingredients), brown rice crackers, lentil chips, air popped pop corn, sf snacks. Hope that helps a bit

Go down the produce aisle in your store and stock up on fresh veggies and fruit. And don't forget to have lots of water on hand!

If you freeze water in large containers, they'll provide lasting blocks of ice that will help keep your perishables cold if the power goes out.

And fill your bathtub so you'll have water for flushing and other neccessities.
