I stood on the scale today and it read 143. I just glanced at it, didn't really think about what I saw and got off. I was expecting to be at around 153, so my brain saw the "3" and that was it. Then I realized that I also saw a "4"!!!!

What?? Wait?? Was it possible that I actually saw 149? I new it wasn't 143 because yesterday I was 153 and that would be 10 pounds overnight, so.... What did I just see??

I got very excited because I've been anxious to get to 149 since it's my normal BMI and my next goal. Plus I'm so close. I went to get on the scale again and that's when I saw a hanger on the floor, wedged beneath the scale. It skewed my weight by 10 pounds. Oh bummer!

Well, at least I haven't gained anything in the past few days, even if I haven't lost. But that 143 sure was pretty.
