What do you love about fall/winter.
Let me start off by saying; I LOATHE the winter. Hate fall. But, it's coming whether I like it or not, so today I started a list of good things about theae seasons, all I got was "Snowboarding."
Now- there HAS to be more good things about it and my brain is too biased to think of them. So- in an effort to have a good attitude for the next 6 months- I'd love to hear all of the things that you are excited about during the upcoming months. hope this thread helps someone besides me!!

Leather boots.
Sleeping in late and waking up all warm when the room is chilly.
Cold weather food.
Pumpkin everything.
Not having to use the air conditioner (Florida chick).
The way the air seems quieter.
Silly hats.
Knitting.
Wearing pants so I don't have to see my legs all the time.
My anniversary ( I know this doesn't help you).
New Year's Eve.
Many more I can't think of right now....

Pumpkin flavored things and the smell of people in my neighborhood burning wood in their fireplaces. I love fall but I hate winter. Oh, almost forgot! Haunted hayrides in the fall and watching my children open gifts on Christmas morning.

*The smell and sound of fallen leaves
*Apples
*Cinnamon
*Family get togethers
*Fire in the fireplace/woodstove
*Sitting on the couch with a warm beverage looking at the freshly fallen snow outside
*Looking at the outdoor decorations in the neighborhood (Halloween and Christmas lights for example)
*The way the world is quiet in the middle of winter - gives you time to think

Three words: Starbucks Fall Drinks.
Too bad they're all pretty high calorie :/
I also love the clothes that go with fall and all the smells of pumpkin, apple, and cinnamon.

Practically everything at Bath & Body works. Their fall/winter products are to die for. I also love Halloween.

I love snow A beautiful winter day with deep blue sky and mountains of snow everywhere, frosty trees sparkling like diamond chandeliers... ahhh...
Or a midwinter snow storm, snow coming down so thick and fast that the whole world seems like a madly shaken snow globe...
Sitting in a warm cozy room on a squishy sofa, wrapped in a fleece blanket and sipping hot cocoa...
Christmas lights, colors, smells and sounds...
Northern Lights (if you are lucky)...
Awesome winter clothing that lets you play outside for hours...

Fall;
The colors
The smells (crisp air has a certain smell to me..) pumpkin, burning wood
Homemade soups
Walks (try walking in 110 degree heat)
Halloween
the clothing. you just can't layer and wear boots in the summer.
cute coats - trenches, belted etc.
hot chocolate
summer is gone
I just love everything about fall. Really hating the summers lately, they're just getting unbearably hot.

The way the crisp air feels, and being able to actually cuddle with my husband at night. I hate the summer heat!

The smells, sounds, colors of Fall! Halloween, all the new horror movies start coming out n the old ones being on t.v. the smell, sound and feel of bonfires, campfires, woodstoves, fireplaces. comfy jeans, boots, jackets (leather/suede of course). clean, clear, fresh air! longer walks, hikes. mornings, afternoons, evenings on the porch without bugs. Winter, ugh! i hate cold weather i could sleep right thru it! but i do love the way snow looks on a clear full moon nite, christmas lites shining on snow covered everything, playing in the 1st snow of season. the clean smell of fresh air!
