Good morning Beachy Chicks It's certainly quiet around here today. Hope everyone is having a good morning.

I tried a new yoga class last night. Liked the class and the teacher but seem to have annoyed my back. Who does that in yoga?! That seems counter productive. Probably my own competitiveness (with myself, not anyone else) got me in trouble. Hope a naproxyn does the trick because I have lots of driving to do today.

I've got a full pit of coffee here. Can I get anyone a cup? What's on yor agenda today/

I really need to take yoga too...put that on the list! Hopefully, that aleve will help you out a bit.

My "short" day was way too freakin long yesterday....I had to call the neighbors to grab my kids til I could get home. But, I was able to get my DD her violin rental last night (12 bucks a month...really?!? That's it!!), and she about sobbed when I made her put it away to go to sleep. I hope she enjoys it that much in 5 years!!

Today is a looong day at work. I hate my long days, but coffee helps a bunch!

Good morning, could you pass me an aleve and some coffee? I did 36 miles yesterday with some insane climbs. I too am really competitive with myself. Today my thighs are reminding me they really worked hard yesterday.

Made a big pot of chicken taco soup (froze half) and Mexican stuffed peppers yum! Today is a work day, but will sneak in a quick spin DVD on my lunch break.

Thanks for the recipe, Cyndi. I will have to try that or some variation. It is a constant effort for me to eat veggies and it can get boring fast! Hope your back heals fast.

I'm working 11-3:00; we are starting our big fall clearance today so hopefully it will be busy. Then I head to the chiropractor. Still can't sense any improvement from that

Good afternoon, ladies. Just got home from the dentist AND picking up my new glasses. I've never had glasses before in my entire life, so it's going to be something to get used to, for sure. They're just for computer work, though. I was AWFUL and didn't get an eye exam for 15 years...so, needless to say, I did NOT have the 20/20 vision that I did 15 years ago, LOL And had I known the eye doctor was going to be so hot, I would've gone in YEARS ago, LOL

I think the Star Wars shirt completes my new nerdy look, no???



I didn't go back and look at yesterday's thread, but if it wasn't seen, I was notified yesterday that I didn't get that job I was up for. HOWEVER, I remembered that when I was praying for my Aunt Gwen I had said that since I had 2 prayer requests going up (the job AND my aunt), if it meant that I couldn't have the job, as long as Aunt Gwen was okay, I'd be at peace w/ that. And yanno what...she got moved out of ICU, taken off the ventilator, and she is progressing a lot faster than doctors expected. So yeah, I'm good w/ not getting that job.

Anyway, I've got another hour and a half before I can feel confident that I'm not getting called in on overtime tonight and then I'm heading out to run some errands. Hope everybody is having a good day!!!

Good evening, ladies! As promised, we're checking in from a charming little town in Indiana. Ruth met me at the airport in Indianapolis and we did our usual "Thelma & Louise", driving to our rental house, and only made one wrong turn.

It's great to see old friends, and we have 2 of the original creators of 3FC here with us. This evening we're just sitting around chatting and relaxing and making plans for what we're going to do tomorrow.

We'll be checking in later!

Natasha the glasses look great!! You can really see an amazing difference from your profile pics. Um hello maybe the eye do thought you were hot too! Sorry you did not get the job. I admire your grace in keeping what matters most. Glad to hear your Aunt is doing better. There is no doubt in my mind the right job will come along. Massachusetts has more than one PD last time I checked. Boy do I wish I knew somebody up there to reach out to.
