Default Time to be Accountable

So, basically I was on a roll. But a combination of extreme stress, vacation, eating whatever I want, and TOM in 2 days, I got on the scale this morning, and really wasn't that surprised to see a 10 lb gain. In 9 days. I know about water weight, and i know I did not eat 35000 extra calories, and especially with my period in 2 days i know that plays a part in the big gain.

Im mostly writing this because I feel like being really honest on this site keeps me accountable. And by admitting to all of you I messed up, and that Im picking it back up again, is kind of a reason for me to keep going? Im not sure if that makes sense.

After updating my profile to show the 10 pound gain, it really motivated me to want to get that weight off of me as fast as possible.

Well anyway. Thanks for reading if you did. This post is mostly about me getting accountable and this way tends to work for me.

I agree. Being accountable, or honest, really helps. I admit my transgressins on here, and I try very hard not to underestimate on my calorie intake.

Keep up the good work!

Being accountable totally helps me out. Just like my bread and wine night with my friends -- that was just the end of a really bad diet week, and I came on here to be all "WAH! THIS IS HARD! I MESSED UP! RJNDFSFSD!"

Once you admit it to yourself, get frustrated with yourself, and let yourself have it, you can get back on track. I have breakdowns about once every 10lbs. You get frustrated and tired and cranky about it and you just want to eat your cake and be done. But then you give yourself a good kick in the face, and allow the people on here to give you a good (but friendly!) kick in the face, and all is well again.

Keep on truckin'; this was a bump in the road, and you will get over it.
