Default Am I really getting bigger?

So for the last week I've been working out differently then I have been. I joined a gym instead ow justifying the time I attempt to put in at home with the kids all around screaming and hungry and laundry that needs to get done ect... So I've been going at 4.30 am until about 6.15 pr 6.30. I can feel that my thighs are not as jiggly and my stomach is still fluffy but smoother: I haven't lost a pound which I expected but my stOmach seems to be closer to the steering wheel then it had been. My husband says everyone's body Changez and fluxuates and I agree but we've been eating better over the last yr and the only thing changing for me is a gym work out. So my does my stomach feel closer to the steering wheel?!

you may be retaining water from all the new working out...that's alot of time to put in at the gym and your body may just be adjusting to that

I too think it's probably just your body adjusting to the increased exercise. We can retain a lot of water. That said, you're sure no one else might have moved the seat or the steering wheel? My best friend always adjusts the both when she drives my car and if I don't remember it the next time I drive it really throws me for a loop.

Also, you could be merely building up the muscles under the fat layer, which can cause them to push the fat out. If the scale hasn't climbed significantly and the only thing thats changed is working out, I'd lay the blame there. You can also ask over at the weight lifters forum! Those ladies and gents have a lot of info!
