Default tough day today how do I stay positive?

Just a lot of junk emotionally on my plate and finding it hard to stay focused on my weight loss and eating correctly. I wish I felt stronger......

Sorry to hear you're having a down day. Its rough to stay positive when emotionally things feel crazy like that. I try listening to music that makes me get into a kick butt mood on days like that. I hope things look up soon for you

Self care! Bubble bath, paint your nails, meet up with friends, crank your music and dance. Anything that makes you happy!

Sometimes when I'm in a funk, some kind of activity as small as a 10-minute walk brightens my mood. I don't have to make sure I look great, I just put on my shoes, grab a water, and walk out the door whether I want to or not. Also getting to bed early ends the day quicker and gives me a little extra rest - which makes my next day more centered. Feel better sweetie!

This! I have done this on my hard days and I really really didn't want to but it helps so much! I hope you're feeling better soon. I have lots of hard days so I know how you feel. Hugs

When things are getting me down and it starts to affect my eating and exercise plan and commitment I try to remember that this is one thing I can actually have control of! This is one thing I can actually MAKE SURE it goes right and that I achieve what I want to achieve today!

Even when everything else is falling down around you, you still have the power to achieve this!

And although it pains me to say it (seriously, it pains me, I still can't walk properly after Monday night's workout) the very best way to keep a positive mindset is to get yourself to the gym, take a walk/run or have a swim - something that will really get your blood pumping and make you remember why you're doing this in the first place.

Good luck - it's tough!

I'm sorry to hear that but it is all in the mind and if you are like me an emotional eater, it is VERY difficult to stay focused. Perhaps take tinier baby steps until your problems improve?
