Default Stuck at a desk all day...

So. For the first time in my life, I'm a desk jockey :/ Dont get me wrong, I enjoy my job well enough. But I was a nanny for a number of years. Going for walks, to the park, chasing kids all day, lifting children, climbing stairs.

Now I flip through websites and reply to vendor emails and edit photos at a desk. Occasionally... I get the opportunity to walk ten feet to the copier/printer. Or thirty feet to the bathroom door.

Any good websites, articles, videos, ANYTHING about how to some good work out stuff in WHILE being stuck behind your desk? And does anyone else have this problem? How do you handle it?

What I do is work out in the morning, give it every thing I've got, and make sure I stay OP all day. It seems to be workin for me!

Yeah. Waking up earlier is not an option for me. Lol! I am an anti-morning person. I usually work out in the early evenings. But I feel more drained sitting at a desk staring at a screen at the end of the day then I did when I was active throughout the day.

I've heard that there are actual little subtle things you can do at your desk to help get you through the day. Just wondering if anyone has heard of anything like that too?

I am interested in this too. I work from home and want to do something instead of just sitting all day at the computer...

If your employer will permit it you can sit on an exercise ball all day, this will keep your core engaged, also burn slightly more calories/day.

I work at a desk all day also, I've just gotten used to getting ready after supper to go to the gym, I just have it in my head that that's what I'm going to do and just do it...

You can see if you can convert your desk to a standing desk, otherwise here are some great guides:
