Default Trying to find the motivation to get back on the wagon

So I plateaued for 2 weeks, even put on 1 lb despite dieting and perhaps because of strength training and it really got to me. After 2 weeks of plateauing, I went back to my old ways of eating and going out of drinking. I'm now at 157 and I'm feeling defeated. How do I get my head back in the game? Getting back on the diet and exercise plan seems so restrictive.

Take a little while to practice maintaining which is just as important as dieting.

What is the rush?

Just went through something very similar. Key is to just keep putting one foot in front of the other. The first three or four days are hard, but once you get past the hump, it's so much better. Not beating yourself up is also key. Last week I only exercised twice because I'm just getting back into it and I thought it'd be more important to focus on my eating. Going 'all or nothing' is just not usually helpful.
