Good morning everyone. My name is Christine I am 37. I am looking for support, this is my third time trying IP. I am starting at 233.5 & 5'5" and looking for the first objective to go under 200. I thought this place would be the right one... I have a 20 months old son, he is at his dad for the week will get him back tomorrow. He is everything to me. I now have to clean up while he is not here.. this give me a chance to do more.. so I need a kick in the $%*+ to start moving.. Have a great weekend!

Since this is your third time, there must be a reason you keep coming back to this program, you must know it works. You have a 20month old so that right there is reason enough to stick to it and get to where you wanna be. You will have more energy if you stick to it to be able to run around chasing him all over and playing around with him. You can do it this time, just take it one day at a time.

I am 38 with a 23 month old, i truly believe IP has helped me become a better mom. I have the energy to take my son out to play everyday, i make nutritious meals for my family, and i am setting the example i want him to follow. Before i would snack on cereal on the couch instead of going to the park, there is more planning involved, but honestly that helped organize my life in a much needed way! You can do this!

Hi Caasie!
I am new too! This is day 5 of phase 1 for me...and honestly I am freakin-hungry! haha! Just had a salad and I can't stand anything but meat...good solid american red meat! That salad was great and filled me right up...NOT!
So yes, this is hard...it takes a vision...a desire...you really have to be focused...and with your little one what a great focal point you have! In addition to helping yourself, you will be helping son is so many ways!
So basically, if I can make 5 days...so can you. Maybe start by taking it 5 days at a time so it does not seem so "global"...I am so looking forward to my weighing myself Tuesday morning to see what my 1st week "reward" will be.
I do know my pants are way looser and its only 5 days...so obviously this will work and you can see by the results of the wonderful people here on this forum it works. They are all an inspiration and I was made to feel welcomed when I just joined here and the advice and experience they have is "solid gold".
You are at the right place, for sure! And the fact that you are here and trying IP again says a lot..

Welcome and good luck!
Jake

Hi cassie - Keep coming back. You can do it. I am in my 3rd week of IP and the support and information here is absolutely great. I just spent the week with our whole family at the lake and was in the midst of cheeseburgers, chips, nuttie buddies, cookies, etc...and not once did I stray. I was pretty amazed actually.

Hello and Welcome I'm also pretty new to this board and this is my second time doing IP,though I will soon be starting with alternatives. It's been almost 2 weeks and I've already lost 14 lbs. It's hard but if you stick with it and follow the "rules" the weight will come off.Good luck in your journey.

I REALLY wanted to get out with the Harley, especially today which is lovely here and the wife loves being out on the bike with friends (she is my constant passenger!),,,BUT it is day 6 on phase 1 and I still feel hungry and kind of "shaky and off-balance" some...hopefully feel more up to it in a few days...supposed to be a lovely week here!

We do ride a lot and belong to a group which is around 120 people...so we are away often and riding!

Last week we went for a long bike ride to the Finger Lakes Region of New York (with friends) and spent 3 days...excellent time!

Cheers
Jake
