Talking My Personal July Fitness Challange..Whats yours

Hey, so I am not one to work out (isn't lifting 355lbs off the couch for potty breaks good enough). I have hit a slow point and thought that I would drive right in! Yesterday I went for a 1.5 mile walk (40mins) and today I got up before work (my bed was calling) and did 16 mins of EA Active Sports (squats, crunches, running, modified pushups, warm up and cool down) I think I will alternate EA Active with Zumba, I seem to burn more calories as I make a fool of myself dancing!!!

whats yours? Lets motivate!!!

Well done! My cousin's fianceé started Zumba around the end of last summer and today she looks incredible for their wedding in less than two weeks. She has lost an amazing amount of weight. I can't say exactly how much because I don't know, but she looks extremely well and healthy. So Zumba definitely works. And I've only heard good things about doing exercise routines on game consoles too.

My own personal goal for July is to workout 15 hours. That can be achieved if I do 35 minutes each day for 26 days (Giving myself one day off a week). I've added in weights to my routine so I'm well on top of things at this goal so I'm hoping I don't slip up during the month.

For July, I'm planning on upping my routine to include more strength training, and longer runs! I've also brought back one of my dance DVD's (I'm staying on my campus for the summer, so I need something to do since no one is around!).

My July goal is to hit every 5:30AM class (8am on Sat)! So far not so good aaaaack but I made it today!!!

I am thinking about doing a "Beat TOM week" lol
Next week my gym has a contest so this is very motivating since I was planning on doing this next week :P Contest is how many classes you go to in a week.

Here was my plan:

Monday & Wednesday
5:30 AM RPM (spin 60mins)
6PM Exhilarate (Spin and strength training) 30m/30m

Tues & Thurs
5:30am BodyPump 60mins
11:15am Express RPM 45mins
5:30pm RPM 60mis

Friday
5:30am RPM 60mins
6:35pm Zumba (I have never tried it!) 60mins

Sat
8AM BodyPump

13 classes total, crazy?! ya I think so but it's 1 week and TOM is making me feel icky...TOM as a Cycter thank you for showing up but did you have to bring your friend Mr. Bloat too?! lol

Good luck everyone!

By the end of the month, I want to overcome my lazy fear of using the squat rack and barbells at the gym.

An hour of SOMETHING every day! I can walk, jog, spin, lift weights, cardio at the gym, swim (?), or do wii or yoga.

This month my goal is to return to the gym 3 times a week and just do something! Not sure why it's so hard for me to get there....they have a great kids room so I get a little time without my 2 little ones that should be enough motivation LOL
