Im getting peruvian chicken for dinner, how many ounces is in a breast and leg?

Scale??? Everyone on this plan should have one, if you are at the grocery store they are all around...

If at the store, the Gross WT should be on the chicken...

We have a peruvian restaurant by my job and i wanted to get their plain chicken for dinner. They don't have scales at the to-go counter lol

Well...more info next time haha...Sorry but I dont have anything relevant then...Other than maybe guess? Maybe just guess then if you are taking home weigh at home then at least you know for next time...?? I got nothin, sorry lol

Normally a breast is 1/4 to 1/2 a pound. 1/2 pound = 8 oz if that helps?

It depends on the size of the chicken. I've weighed a lot of chicken over my decades of dieting, and I'd say that 7 to 10 ounces of meat would be a pretty good guesstimate.

I know it's a pretty wide range, but chicken piece sizes really vary a lot. I've had breasts that barely yielded 3 ounces of meat, and others more than twice that.

If you can't weigh, a decent visual guideline is that one ounce is the size of your thumb, and 3-4 ounces is the size of your hand without the fingers.

i always heard that 3-4 ounces was about the same size and thickness of a regular size deck of cards....maybe that can be used as a gauge for you to decide.

it's slightly bigger than that. it's thick but has bones. looks lie a good size to me i suppose
