Alright it's picture time! I had to quickly put together an outfit since I didn't have a goal outfit and it came totally unexpected. So here are some pictures of me throughout the years, starting with before I gained the weight up until today.
2008, before weight gain, I was probably 125-130 naturally thin, 1 year out of high school
2009, before weight gain
2010 Christmas, when I was still in denial about weight, looking back I don't see how I didn't realize how big I was. I don't know the weight at the time
2011, at my highest, 170 and this picture was one of my wake up call pictures
You do look even better now than before the weight gain! I bet you appeciate being your current weight more now too! You look beautiful. Congratulations.
AMAZING~!!!!! i'm so proud of you, ive been a secret admirer for a while now!! I love reading your posts and I am so glad you have finally posted your Goal pics!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!
thank you so much everyone! I really do need to get some goal outfits, espically since most of my clothes no longer fit but gotta wait for the pay check first
Great Job! Good for you for catching your weight gain "early". By that, I mean not letting it go for another 25lbs or more. A lot of women don't have their wake up call until the scale has moved much higher.
I'm relatively new, so I've never followed any of your posts. How did you lose the weight? I'm 5'5" and currently at 151, my highest was 162 this past December. I feel I'm stuck in a rut and can't move past this spot. Your photos are very inspiring. Again, great job!
@Katiejejan- Thank you so much, and I am defienently glad I caught it when I did, 170 was hard enough for me to deal with, I don't know what I would have done if I had let myself get to 200, I'm so glad I had the wake up call at the weight and age I was.
As far as how I lost the weight, I did everything on my own, I didn't even have 3fc at the time, though I'm glad I do now. I didn't know anything about diet or weightloss as I had never had to worry about watching my weight in the past, so I did the only thing I knew about which was calorie count. I cut out all junk food, fast food and soda. I used to eat fast food every single day and some times twice a day. I used to live off of coke and never touched water. I was a huge carb lover (still am lol) I would have pastries and donughts in the morning and pretty much anything else that was heavy on carbs. I would live off of 3 cans of coke a day, and have large scoops of ice cream for desert at night, on top of large dinners and snacks throughout the day plus what I already had for breakfast and lunch. As soon as I started my diet I stopped all of this pretty much cold turkey. And the weight just started falling, I remember the first week loosing 10 pounds just from cutting all that back and change my eating habbits. My diet wasn't always perfect in the beginning but I did my best and took up drinking water and eat healthier foods. I've also kept my calorie limit at 12-12400 a day and exercised. I couldn't afford a gym membership, I still can't so I walk and somtimes jog the bike trail behind my house. I tried to go out 3-5 times a week for 45 minutes and going anywhere from 2-6 miles. And that helped shed the pounds, in the beginning I also used Wii Fit Plus as well and liked the yoga stretches and all that stuff. So this is what has worked for me, it hasn't really cost me anything, it just took a lot longer than say people who did a food plan or go to a gym, so if you try the route that I did just have a lot of paitence and it will all eventually come off, it took me 13 months to hit goal. You are pretty close to your goal and have already lost 10 pounds which is amazing! Loosing weight is all about finding a plan that works for you and your body as everyone is different. And I wish you luck along the way and can't wait to watch your progress!
