Default Hummus

Hi there. I did SBD many years ago with great success and I'm giving it another shot. I seem to remember being able to have hummus. Am I wrong? I can't seem to find it in the book.
Thanks,
Tina

Welcome back. The food list from the newest book is in the FAQ above.

Hummus is fine - just watch the quantity.

Im also a fan of the roasted red pepper hummus. I love it with some red and yellow pepper slices. I tried it with sliced cucumber and didn't like it LOL I guess flavorful veggies are best?

How much do you think is allowed for a serving? I sat down with hummus and a bag of cut up bell peppers last night and probably had too much. Need to portion it out, but what is an allowable portion for hummus?

~thanks

Hummus is about 30 calories per tablespoon - check the info on the container if it's store-bought. That means about 240 calories per half cup serving.
