Default Durn, durn, double durn!

I'm on Day 8 of Phase 1. I have been doing VERY good staying OP. However, I just was feeling hungry and a little weak . . . and I indulged slightly. Before I went on SBD, I was eating some "saltines" that had some whole wheat flour added, so not STRICTLY "whole wheat" crackers. I was "only going to eat one . . . " and I ate about 8. I don't even think I have an excuse of any kind! Not TTOM, but I haven't been sleeping super well.

Oh, well, one small indiscretion won't hurt me too much, I guess. I can stay OP the rest of the week ("Lord willing and the creek don't rise," as Grandma used to say!).

Hey Tricia,

Don't worry about one small detour in you new woe. 8 days on program is wonderful. Don't beat yourself up. I wouldn't think that 8 saltines could do much damage and you seem like you are jumping right back on the program.

Flexibility is what this is all about. Good luck.

Hi Tricia,

You're right ... one slip up shouldn't matter :-) I had an ocassional slip during my first 2 wks and didn't gain. Besides, 8 crackers is not THAT bad ;-)

I am trying to recover from a ~10 day detour ) which caused me to regain 7 of the 10#s I lost :-(

Remember NOT to give up over a slip.

Allow that and now move on.

Default Thanks!

Thanks, ladies, for your words of encouragement! My tummy was acting up a little afterward, so I was feeling EXTRA guilty. But I realized later, in the big scheme of things, that was a minor slip!

OK, Darlene, today's a new day! We'll do great today! (high five smiley face)

Yes, Lavender its not a BIG slip up. Sometimes its easier to let your body have a few bites of what it is craving so that you quell the desire for the "bad stuff" Then you can stay OP better.

Hang in there!

You're right, Tricia! The day is nearly over now and so far all's fine. I am just super-tired today. One of my friend-coworkers asked if I was having a frustrating day. I guess my tired was showing!
