Question South Beach Diet Online

Hi All,

I just saw an ad for the SBD Online. I cannot image that the forum is better than this site, since everyone here is so positive and willing to share and motivate. I was wondering if anyone has signed up for it and would it be something to use in conjunction with this forum?

Have a great day on the beach!

I have not even heard of it. But it might be worth the money (I'm sure they charge for it) if someone would come to my house and do all my shopping & cooking. hehehe.

They do charge for it. Noranoranora joined for a while. She was not impressed. I think it was about C$30 but I'm not sure if that was the month or just a one-time charge. I'll investigate and let folks know.

It's 29.95 US$ for the first 6 weeks. After that US$6.95 a month billed to your credit card automatically. Somehow, I think I can do without it. You can buy a heck of a lot of ricotta with that amount of money.

Default SBD Online

I am a member there but don't frequent the boards too much. I actually like the site. I joined in June. It's a relatively new site and has made some nice improvements since I've been a member.

Since I don't visit daily or sometimes even wkly, it seems they have done something new each time I go.

The main reason I keep my membership is because of the menus, meal plans, recipes and shopping lists. It has a weight tracker that allows weigh ins and measure BMI for you when you weigh. And ... now it's less than $7 / mo. for me. I may decide to drop it at some point but for now am keeping it.

BTW, it was more beneficial to me the first 2 or 3 wks while I was trying to get a grasp on things.

Thanks. I have let my ww membership drop and I thought the SBD online might keep me more accountable, but I think I'll stick with this forum. Like you said it's free and it's great!

Thanks again.

Even though the site is a pay site you can sign up for their free newsletter. i know that it is just 1 huge ad for their site but I have gotten some good tips from it. this place is definitly better though. Julie
