Hey Ladies,
I've always heard of this so-called "woosh" that some women get around their TOM... holding onto water and then letting it all go after it starts? I'm not sure how it works. All I know is that I started running last week, ran 5/7 days, and only lost 1 pound. I was ok with it, I"m only aiming for 1.5/week anyhow and I was experimenting with my fat/carb intake while focusing on calories. Then TOM ending up visiting, and I've been hit with a major chest cold - fever, chest congestion, and wicked cough for at least 3 days now... so needless to say, no exercise. I've been still in my alloted calorie range (not super low because of lack of appetite), but I weighed myself today to see I've lost 4.9 lbs?!??!!? I've enver lost that much in one week in my LIFE.
So I guess what I'm REALLY wondering is, if this is the 'woosh' some people get, does it stick? or do you typically gain back a couple pounds so that your net loss is around half that?
I just dont' want to be disappointed when Saturday rolls around
