Default Walking my first 5k tomorrow

I am excited, anxious and nervous all at the same time. I am hoping this is what I need to get myself back on track.

I will check in tomorrow after I return home and let you all know how it went.

I want to not feel as though people are judging me for all the wrong reasons when I leave the house. I want to be able to leave the house on my own without all the anxiety that I have now. I want to one day be able to go on rides at amusement parks with the kids we will have one day. I want to go to an amusement park and not have to worry about if I'll fit or not

Great job! And almost and extra half mile! What's up with that? Were you having so much fun you forgot to stop?

I did (ran and walked) a 5K last weekend with my daughter and a group from her gym when I was visiting her in NC. I told a friend I had done it and he said, "I belong to Runners Anonymous." I said, "Really? I didn't know there was such a group." He said, "Yes - when I have the urge to run, I call my sponsor and he talks me out of it!" LOL I need to join. My knee still is a little stiff!

Good for you on doing this. You're making such great progress.

Thank you ladies! We actually had a good time except for the long walk, heavy breathing, and sweating. LOL!
